Editorial: The civic side of population health management (May, 2015)

This editorial helps to showcase the potential for public health and health equity conversations to be at the forefront of evolving healthcare operations. Check out how health happens where people work and play acknowledging that it is not solely social economic factors that drive communities' overall health.  Call to action for health care systems and health care administrators to pay attention to factors that are more upstream (e.g. social determinants of health). In particular there is a call for health care administrators to look at differences and discrepancies among their organizational hierarchy of wages.
